What are the Saturday Sharings Sessions about?
On the third Saturday of every month, newly diagnosed women and their carers are encouraged to attend the New Patient Education session at BCWA’s premises. She can ask questions, share her fears and concerns, and get support from the volunteer. This is followed by a group sharing session for newly diagnosed women and their carers to discuss issues affecting them with other breast cancer survivors. At the beginning of the session, the coordinator of the group sharing session, namely a Patient Support Volunteer, will list down the ground rules of the session. On weekdays, a Patient Support Team member and BCWA staff are on standby at the BCWA premises to attend to phone calls and walk-in patients.

New Patient Education: 1.00 pm – 2.30 pm
Group Sharing Session: 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm
